As soon as I graduated from college, I started saving for a new home. I wanted to live in a space that was mine and mine alone, and I was really tired of renting. Unfortunately, this attitude probably prompted me to purchase the first house that I came across, which led me to make a poor decision. I didn't know much about mortgages at first, which is why I chose the wrong home loan.
